Since the overwhelming response to my last post, "IS questions", didn't answer my questions. I'm having trouble locating IS EPQ's. Is anyone willing to point me in the right direction here?

Here is the link I found. It is located on CG Central, so it will only work on a CG Workstation. I found it on the IS Force Notes.

I would recommend joining the discussion at CG central in regards to the question. The thing about IS's is that we tend to not like to discuss our rate outside official channels because we have pretty much become paranoid about OPSEC. When you go to CG central click on the little tab in the upper right marked enterprise discussions. Then click on the link to enlisted members and it will bring up the list for all the rates discussion boards. I know the RFMC checks it semi regularly and he is the best source for information on the IS Rating in general.

Will do. I was looking through that yesterday.

My deal is this; I have a FN that wants to go IS. The Command feels that since I'm in an IS position I will be the most qualified to mentor her. I agree to a point, I'm still an OS and only know IS knowledge pertaining to my job (FIST). I just want to arm myself with as much IS information I could get to help her make the best decision.

I printed up all the force notes and will point her towards the CG Central forum. One thing I'd like to know but can't seem to get a solid answer on is how long is the A school wait?

Well I'll head over to CG Central and see if I could collect any Intel on the rating (no pun intended) Thanks for the come back.

According to the last admin notes from 15 NOV, the projected wait for IS A school is 6-12 months. Projected convening dates are 04MAY09, 07SEP09, 11JAN10.

The best place to go for EPQs for EVERY rating is learning.uscg.mil
Note - there is no WWW there. sign in and click on enlisted advancement then EPQs, a lit of all of them pop up. This is the single offical place for the current EPQs.

That is awesome. Thank you Master Chief! Just so everyone knows, it works great from home too. I'm at home this week recovering from eye surgery, so I figured I would try it out. A lot of great stuff on there.
