I've heard from my recruiter that all the IS billets are out of the old Buckley AFB near Denver, Colorado. Is this true? Does anybody know if they are thinking about de-centralizing the command to more of a regional command center level or leaving it in Denver?

No. There are some IS billets in Colorado. There are also IS billets all over the country.

If that's what your recruiter said, he/she didn't know what they were talking about.

Actually he may have well known what he is talking about, if the poster was considering joining the reserves as from the Rec perspective, that is all they can recruit too.
