Hello shipmates,
Im currently a PS3 enroute to PS2(hopefully). Ive served the past four years as part of PSU 309. Ive done alot of training with other agencies, deployed overseas, and currently on AD at AUXOP Sackets Harbor. As many of you may know the PS rate is being decommissioned and all of us PS's are looking for a place to go. Most of the force will be heading to ME but I am very interested in the IS rating. Im wondering about the lateral process and if its possible for me to be a IS reservist at a PSU? Pretty much, Im looking for any help or suggestions you guys can give me.

You must follow the instructions in ALCOAST 348/09. The PS and ME RFMC will look over all packages. Unless you have qualifications/skills already in place for another rating, you will most likely be an ME.
As for IS, I am looking for people who have worked in the military intelligence field. Just doing reports at a unit is not going to qualify as doing intelligence. Look at the ALCOAST and follow the instructions in it.
