The posted EPQs above are for rev 7 (Revised/posted last July).
Be on the lookout for the updated version rev 12. I'm hoping it will be posted this week on the CG Learning Portal. As my Force Notes pointed out, the revision was to update EPQs with more intel references. I just posted all the unclas EPQ references to CG Central, to view click the following link: CG Central link to IS page (CGWEB only) I intend to post the classified refs on the CG-2 SIPR side in the very near future. The new EPQs (rev 12) are now official and I just posted them to CG Central (utilize the link in my previous post to view).
I anticipate they will also be posted to the CG Learning Portal sometime this week. ISCM Rochefort |

Can anyone please help clarify an issue?
Who can sign the EPQ's?? Does it have to be a CHIEF?? (E7) Or can it be like ANY other EPQ's?? (Any grade higher than yours) Also one question that is really bothering a lot of us: Is the deadline for having all EPQ's signed going to be extended for us? I mean if we follow CG guidelines EVERYTHING has to be done PRIOR to Jan 30th in order to take the May Servicewide. If you take into consideration that the Final EPQ's JUST came out and the fact that most of us DO NOT know who can sign them yet, or what exactly certain C-schools are going to cover in the EPQ's, let alone the Holiday season, Leave, etc of key personnel, makes me wonder if about a month and a weeks time is enough to get all signoffs completed. Anyone with information please respond. It is already Dec 15 so that gives us about 45 calendar days to get this done if we follow the guidelines. Thanks ahead of time. |

Anyone who is qualified to sign can.. meaning a person who can certify you can do the job and is at least one paygrade above the person attempting to qualify.
That can be a 1st for 2nd's, ISC's, LTJG & LT's (with Intel Officer Code, I think is OPS76). I don't know this for sure but I believe Civilian Employees can as well (FIST, ICC, MIFC, Ops Intel School). |

Coastie,
To clarify: The final EPQs have been out since July 07. The revised copy (rev 12) was put out to add references only in order to help ISs track down info to get EPQs signed off. Nothing changed in reference to EPQ content. There will not be an extention of the deadline for EPQ signoffs. Remember, focus on your next higher EPQs. Those are the ones that must be signed off for IS's to compete in the May 08 SWE (see previous ALCOAST covering IS advancements through 2011). ISCM Rochefort |

These quals have been out since July 2007 and now you're saying "Thanks ahead of time" for I only have 45 calendar days....... Brand new rate, one would think of hitting the deck and running full steam. From being a PO2, you know when the deadline for both SWEs are yet you want to give a lil sarcasm. Give me a break. |

Respectfully you might want to look at my original message. I was not sarcastic at ALL. I always give thanks ahead of time when I know someone is going to give me an answer. And of course I would've gladly got my signoffs done but until recently we had no idea who could actually sign them. |

Chief I have absolutely no problem with the way MIFC will finally get signoffs done. I know however the command wants it done thats how is going to be. No issues there. I just wanted to make sure that what I know to be true in regards of signing things off was still in effect. I know ISMC's usually read and answer questions in here so I was just using a resource from the ones that know the most about us IS'. Things change constanly and I wanted to make sure there was not an ALCOAST or other type of document stating a change in EPQ's sign offs procedures. This message has been edited. Hello there SeniorChief, that question was not for me in particular but for others that 1. Are not around Intell units to get signoffs and 2. For out of rate coasties coming into the IS field that are having a hard time getting TAD time to get signoffs done. Thanks for your input SeniorChief. This message has been edited.
