There may be more to this than meets the eye

Looking at the map, it would appear to be bass ackwards. What looks like the West Coast , with the Baja to the south ,on up the coast above San Francisco, is oriented to be on the East Coast. With the compass rose orientation depicted, something is amiss.

Obviously non of the ISs posted above were read into TK or THEY would have caught that!
