Got my orders as well, headed off to San Antonio. Guess asking for another four years in sunny hawaii was a little much to ask for. Not bad getting second pick though.

I said it before and I say it again I will never understand the way CG sends people to fill in billets. I would think that one of the concerns would be to save as much money as posible during transfer season. I am not hating but lets look at 2 examples so far; An IS1 wants to stay in Hawaii, no cost orders, no money spend by the CG. (Nope, go to San Antonio instead!) Another IS1 from Hawaii gets orders to San Juan, PR (OMG tell me thats not going to be and expensive move!) But then what do I know.

Good luck to all who got orders and for those who are coming to MIFC LANT feel free to call me if you have questions. Hampton Roads is a Love it or Hate it kinda place.

One thing I keep hearing is that there are 25 1sts due to transfer next summer and only 10/12 billets open. If that is true, anyone else see anything wrong with that?

Good question. We have a IS1/OS1 here that does not have orders and he is getting no answers from anywhere. Hmmmmm, very interesting indeed.
