I'll be driving down to A-school coming up soon, and I wanted to ask a last minute question:
After we make rate, and then I assume eventually C-school, are we locked in to that specialty? For example, as an IS3 at a crypto unit, and then transferring to a FIST as an IS2, is that possible(likely)? Thanks!

You shouldn't be locked into a certain aspect of the IS rating (CT, FIST, MIFC etc.).

In truth, I would hope that everyone will have the opportunity to experience all (or most) aspects of the rating throughout a 20 year career.
