No. At this time there is no guaranteed "A" school for Intelligence Specialist. I do not foresee it happening anytime soon as there are plenty of people on the waiting list. This being said, I am guessing your question was for someone coming into the CG and going right from boot camp to "A" school. The only way to get on the list now as a non rate, is to do your time at your unit (4 mos minimum) and start the "A" school application process. ISCM Paul IS RFMC
Ecity- Your profile shows you are already an E-5. Are you asking for yourself or someone else?
Looks to me like zes2 has already answered the question though....

Well, correct me if I am wrong, but reservists are not allowed to come in as non designated non rates. So if someone was interested in becoming a reserve IS, how would they go about becoming one? Or is IS basically an active duty only rating?
Yes, I am asking these questions for someone I know who is considering joining the CG.
Have them talk to a recruiter. I was at the RIC confernce in Denver and gave them all of this information about 2 months ago. I am on the road and I do not want to WAG at this or mis quote policy. ISCM Paul IS RFMC
