Has there been any discussion or rumor regarding what the growth rate of IS is looking like in say 5 years, 10 years. I know it will take a little while to fill the E-4 billets, but there has to be some kind of expected number floating around (say double the size of the initial selection)? Is there currently a list that shows for instance...(we expect to open up this many new billets at this particular unit and that unit and so on...)
I have reviewed the strategic plan, but didn't see anything specific to numbers for the enlisted side of the house. This message has been edited. Last edited by: cchapman2016, |

cchapman,
The overall intel program is looking at some growth over the next two to three years. And the enlisted side can expect to receive some of that growth. It won't be much, but for instance we just saw some minor growth in the last month. I won't go into exact numbers here, but we just got some new billets at the E-6 level and below. Bottom line: We are a new rating and I believe we will continue to see some growth over the short term. ISCM |
