Thought I'd see what everyone thinks the cut will be. I'm gonna take a guess and say, 8. Any thoughts?

Figured that with one MC advancement and at least one retirement, and possibly a few new ISC positions for 09, I think that number could be close. Of course, knowing my luck the cut will be 8, and I'll be sitting at 9. ;o)

Seriously. Anyone wondering or know any good info about this?

Im going to say the cut for you guys for ISC will be 2, to be revised to no more than 4.

Well i know of 1 possibly 2 retirements. at least 2 warrants (based on the cut) and possibly up to 4 (predictor). Also heard an opinion from someone who thinks there will be up to 5 warrants made. Plus i think when MC was out he mentioned something about a new billit or two possibly opening up next year depending on the budget. So i would guess at least 3 and possibly up to 7-8.
Of course this shows you the futility of trying to predict a cut this early. The fact of the matter is that a lot can change at any time between now and the final cut for th 2008 SWE. So I wouldnt worry too much about about it as there is absolutly zero you can do about it at this point. unless, you plan on knocking of a Senior chief or something, but i would not recomend that :-)
