So how does everyone think they did on this SWE. Not really asking about certain questions, we can use CGCentral for those responses. I felt alot better about last years test than I did with this one. This one has me questioning if I studied enough or the right stuff. Have to wait a couple of weeks or so to see what the score turns out to be. Good luck to all of you.

I knew from question 1 that it was going to be bad. I was actually looking forward to the EPME question after question 10!! It's hard to study for a new rate and without some of the practical MIFC, ICC, CGCG experience it's hard to keep all that in line.
There will always be next year...

I can definately say this was a very challenging service wide. Finally getting to the EPME questions was a great relief. Thinking back on some of the questions, I definately missed several manuals since I didn't have a clue on some of the topics. Some moments I think I did real well, then of course I have all this second guessing. Tomorrow should be interesting as I look through the manuals for the correct answers to either verify or kick myself.

I guess i feel confortable of what i did. Like you say HowUDoing, it's really hard to study for a new rate...for the very first SWE. Overall I feel good about how I did in it. But some questions came out of the blue...I either knew the answers to some questions right away or had no idea of whjere the got some questions from.
We shall wait and see. Good luck to all.

Yeah, I hear ya Chappy and everyone. I spoke to you Chaps after the exam for a bit. The first OS SWE had a lot of MRN/EPME q's on it so, I thought perhaps this one could go that way so, as soon as I opened the exam, I was a little bummed there were only 25, but did those first since they were much easier.

It was challenging and I have no idea how I might've done. Looking back after the exam, I know there were about 5-7 questions on there that I goofed and should've got right. I also failed to look at a few key manuals before the test so, hopefully my guessing goes my way. Like some of you said, it is hard to study for a SWE for a new rate b/c it was the first one and we didn't know what to expect. If I don't make it, I'll be better prepared next year for sure.

Raw scores are out. How did you guys do? I had a bad feeling after the test and my score pretty much confirmed it.

68 for ISC

With my lack of TIS and (probably) a lack of ISC billets opening up, I'm thinking I'll be sitting for it again next year. Oh well.

How did everybody else do?

I wish I had a response to your question. My score hasn't posted yet. I think the ESO sent it priority or via some other slow mail. Most of the Sector people here have theirs posted so they must have overnighted it or something.

I guess i'll have to wait and wonder throughout the weekend to see how if my predictions are correct.

Wolf, I agree, though my score hasn't posted yet, I think 99% of us will be doing the dance again next May. I'll probably be looking at a score in the low 50's...

Yeah, just checked here and I don't have a score posted yet either. I'm in the same boat as Chappy.

Damn! I was kind of hoping to get an idea of where I stood. Last year after the OSC SWE, that wasn't a problem. Everybody was posting their scores like crazy.

I know one other IS1 that got a 57, but he's probably still going to place above me on the
list because he has 12 in and I only have 6.

Well, when you guys get them, post them here!

CGWOLF,

Depending on how your other points add up compared to the other guy with a 57, you might still find yourself ahead. Right now you have 11 points up on the SWE, minus 1 point for every year in, so that would put you 5 points ahead based on those two things. Might not be to far off either side of it.

I will definately post my score once I see it, hopefully in the not to distant future. Wish those that scored the test and uploaded the data worked over the weekend. However, it is still way faster than last year for beginning the process of uploading the scores.

Has anyone asked and or found out a definate answer for how many IS1 took the ISC SWE?

Remember folks, your score by itself is pretty irrelevant. The AVERAGE score last year for HSC was 43 (Forty-three). Hang in there a while.

Well I just confirmed that I did terrible on this SWE.

SWE 60, TIS 10y, TIG 05y 04m, ap 7, sea time 1y 11m (early rotation for making 1st sucks when you look at how those extra points make a difference when everyone is close on exam scores) , marks 41. Looks like wolf is leading the charge for best exam. Unless a miracle appears, I will definately be taking the exam again next year.

Well it looks like we all did bad in regards to number of questions right. However like the man said. you dont have to run faster than the cops just faster than your friends. Good luck all and keep the scores coming if you dont mind:-)

My score still hasn't populated yet. Confused
I'm even more nervous now after seeing some of these scores. A part of me doesn't even want to see my score. I'll post it as soon as I get it, but dang...seems we have a low average so far. Well, for those that post on here. No clue how many people took the exam either.

On a side note, seems I'm up against some very good competition. I have less then 10 in and looking at some of your stats (time in, award points, etc.) there is no way I'm gonna be at the top unless my score is superb. I don't have the time like some of my fellow competition so, good for those that have some good points going into the exam. Best of luck to everyone. "At first you don't succeed, try, try again."
