Well I plan on enlisting in the US Marine Corps. But it looks like unless I lie at MEPs theres a very small chance of me making it in. THis really breaks me, I've thought of nothing other than joinging the Marine Corps and becoming an 03 grunt. I'm going to try as hard as I can to get in with out lying but if it comes down to it and I am refused I would like to look for a way I can still serve my country over in the warzone. Are there any sort of jobs that an 18 year old out of highschool can get overseas? I have no real special skills, even if something as little as loading crates onto planes or what not I would gladly take it. It's been my dream to serve my country in combat, if that can't happen then I want to still my country while in the warzone. THe only jobs I really know of are those of warzone contractors, of course I would need military to become a security contractor and I don't really have any other special skills that I can think of that would give me a job as contractor like; like computers and what not. Also I'm only 18 and from what I've read about these companies most of their employees are at least in they're in their mid twenties. Any help at all would be great, really really really appreciated.

Why again are you fretting over not being able to get in?
And, why are you so diehard to go over and get yourself killed. A true warrior thinks of how he can help, but keeps a clear head on how to accomplish the task.
