Of course... and getting news from anywhere but the US government is pinko, commie, liberal, homo, treason right?

Just wanted to confirm the requirements of being a patriot in George Bush's America.

Has anyone considered for a minute the possibility that the company was left out on purpose to avoid any repercussions? Since when does a grunt platoon go anywhere without a doc?

I keep saying, this new military is truely something to laugh at.

I have never heard so many crybabies in my life.

I never had to go to war, but we were ready.

I worked in a Com center, but I took it upon myself to train for the eventuality of a war.

I was stationed in Germany where frequent issues with radical factions occurred.

The military will not always have the necessary troop levels to support a mission. You take what is given, get the job done, then ***** about it later.

You signed up for the military, what did you think you were getting yourself into? A day at the beach?

A military is only used for one thing and that is to provide superior force in a given situation.

We are given a set of specific orders which are to be followed out as requested.

All soldiers who go outside the wire in Iraq are qualified CLS. (Combat Life Saver)

Grunts go with a medic if at all possible. The loss of a medic however will never be allowed to render a platoon combat ineffective.

I've taken a squad of nine men and three M1114s with no doc, from one end of Iraq to the other, many, many times.

Problems occur, however, when leadership tends to view and task 19 men with the capabilities and responsibilites of 40 men simply because the 19 are still called a "platoon".
That's where NCOs and the elements of courage, competency, and CANDOR come into play.

People get edgy, think and say crazy things under constant stress. I admit I have.
BUT NO ONE QUITS.
