Do IDTT Drills (weekend drills) count towards sanctuary? Looking for clarification in the instruction - SECNAVINST 1800.2 PERS-4G 22 June 2008 b. All active duty orders including Active Duty for Training (ADT), Annual Training (AT), and active duty for special work, are included in the calculation of a 20-year Active Duty Retirement. However, ADT and AT orders do not trigger the sanctuary provision. But what about drills?

IDTT- Inactive Duty for Training Travel These are regular drill weekends. You earned inactive duty points for this time. Look at your annual points statement. This time should all be allocated against 'inactive' vice 'active' time. Only thing IDTT gets you is paid travel to your drill site for inactive training. If DWE could trigger sanctuary you'd see a bunch of folks pushed into the IRR. This obviously is not the case.
