Took the ASVAB 2 weeks ago and got a 75 with a GT of 110. I went to MEPS on Monday/Tuesday and was DEPed into the United States Marine Corps. Feels good to be one step closing to trying to earn the title of Marine.

I ship out 2010705 to Parris Island, SC.

Came back to my home city to talk about my job with my recruiter and decided on Infantry. My other choice was Aviation Supply Specialist. Just to cure my curiosity, since I can't change my contract (I am MORE than happy to go Infantry), how long is the Aviation Supply Specialist "school"?

2-3 months? Damn. Kinda wish I would haave done that then. Technical jobs rank up faster I heard. People go aviation to party? lol? Not my intentions at all. If I would have went aviation supply specialist or whatever it would have been simply because it would have been a job I wanted to do.

My son is in supply with MWSS 372 and he doesn't party very much. The Marine Corps is pretty strict about drunkeness, so be careful about it. My son made Corporal in under 3 years but if you want to lose rank quick, get arrested for DUI, you will start at the bottom really quick again.
