Good luck Son. Never think past your next meal, keep putting one foot in front of the other, give 110% of whatever you have inside at the time and learn as much of everything that they're trying to teach you. Won't be a picnic but once you get into the groove everything always has a way of working itself out.
Never ever forget you're there for one reason and one reason only: earning your Title.
God bless you and best of luck. Get back to us after you graduate so we can welcome you aboard.
It's okay to say September 21st or October 13th. No one uses that language except officially and you sure won't after you grad boot.
Relax. Life is good. Enjoy your freedom while you still can and it's okay to be a civilian as long as you can.
You'll actually laugh about this six months into your Fleet Units when you'll act as civilian as you can possibly get away with. Goes with the territory of being a Marine.
I found out last week that I got a combat support contract (CE). I hope I get MOS 1811 but that doesn't matter as much as making it through boot camp and being able to proudly call myself a Marine!
1800 is Tanks and Tracks which are combat arms, NOT combat support. Double check with your Recruiter to verify what MOS's you qualified for before you sign your final contract. Best of luck to you.
