Hello Marines,

I'm a 25 y/o male seeking advice from all Marines who are willing to respond for insight on choosing an enlistment contract. I have the choice of choosing between two contracts CN: Supply Management and CE: Combat Support. The MOS's in CE consists of 0811 field artillery cannoneer, 1812 M1A1 Tank Crewman, 1833 Assault Amphibious Vehical Crewman, and 7212 Low Altitude Air Defense Gunner. The MOS's in CN consists of 3051 Warehouse Clerk, 3052 Packaging Specialist, and 3112 Traffic Management Specialist. I'm interested in CE because of the action and I enjoy being active and do not like being bored. I'm interested in CN because it deals with supplies and I would like to learn some of the operations of the Marine Corps. I'm seeking wise counsel on which contract would provide me with the best career and benefits in the Marine Corps. Thank You for your time Marines!

I wouldnt go with the CN's MOS's most likely you will end up being a supply clerk and most of them hate their MOS, usually a lot of ********'s SNCO's in supply as well. There are good units though, my last unit I was at had a pretty laid back supply warehous, but every where else I was they got f0cked with. The CE field is all action, a lot of hard work and being out in the field, but a lot of action too. Hopefully someone that works in these MOS fields will shoot you some better advice, good luck.
