Ok, to make a long story short I was playing football and hit my big toe 12 o clock into a pole. it hurt like a mother. At first I thought it was just jammed but now im pretty sure it's broken. I have had ice on it and the swelling has gone down, but my toe is still a little deformed. I decided not to go to a doctor since all they can do is tape it to the toe next to it. I bought some medical tape and am doing that myself. This will delay my MEPs trip I know, cause there is no way I will be able to do the duck walk or anything. My question is, should I disclose this info at MEPS, or just let it go since I don't know for sure if it's broken?
The minimum wait time on broken bones used to be 90 days. You have diagnosed yourself, and will have no medical documentation. You can tell them that you think you broke it, but never went to a doctor, because that's what happened. Let your recruiter know and he/she will inform you of the proper way to deal with this.
