Just being nosy - Marine Sgt. knocked on our door. Talked to son. Son is 21 and in good health. February he had a gastric sleeve bypass. This surgery removes 2/3 of the stomach and nothing else changes. He's gone from 425 to present weight of 270. From 6x to 2x and from 60 waist to 42.

Sgt is very confident that he can get him in and Dan is working out with the poolies on MWF and working 5 days a week.

He's a college graduate and a chef.

Is the recruiter correct? Can he get in?

It's not up to the recruiter to decide. All he can do is submit the waiver while the MEPS medical staff makes the medical decision. Afterwards, it is up to the recruiters CO who may or may not sign the waiver.

As long as you get whatever the recruiter asks for you should be good. If the medical personnel want or need additional info they'll let you know.
