What I'm asking is, when you aren't deployed, how/where do you spend most of your time? On a base or on a navy ship? And, what is it like there? Are there gyms/weights? Internet for classes? I know I'm going to be enlisting during a time of war, but I'm wondering, outside my work hours, will I be able to take some classes or work out? Thanks.

All of your questions have already been covered in great detail so do a search in this forum and you'll find the answers you seek.
The main answer to all your questions is it depends on what your job is because that determines how much time you spend in your home base. Generally speaking a shooter is going to be more on the move than say a person processing paperwork because thats generally centralized.
Gets kind of old answering the exact same questions literally 20-40 times a year so again, do a thorough search first before asking any more and we'll be happy to help you from there.
