Here is the deal. I am 23, I have a bachelor's degree from a private school in MN. The thing is I have like $50,000 dollars in student loans and I think I will be paying about 5 or 6 hundred dollars a month to repay those. Will I be able to afford those payments?
Another decision I have to make is whether or not to attempt the Officer program. I guess I am eligible since I have a college degree. I did well on my ACT after high school and I got like a 2.8 in college.
The thing is I really want to join. I love being active and love what it would mean to become a marine. Any advice would be appreciated.

Money wise, if you have a payment like that, it will be tight, but probably doable if you follow a tight budget. Have you asked you recruiter about the National Call to Service student loan repayment? Talk to him about the particulars.
