With 2 kids you aren't DQed from joining although you may wish to examine just how you can support a family on a Private's salary.
(Refer to the pay scales on the home page)

as a recruiter, i can tell you that it will DQ you for active duty, you may still join the reserves though, just ask the recruiter.

Wrong Forum as this is a Wannabe question you're asking in our general discussions place. Please ask these types of questions in Wannabe.

Thanks and best of luck to you Ma'am.

I am not a recruiter, but I know several males who enlisted that already had kids (more than one) BEFORE they joined. But it will be hard to do that on a private's pay. AS of now AFTER taxes you will barely be bringing in $1200 a month. On the other, your housing it paid for and you have free health care for you and your family. Money will be tight at first, so just watch it and hopefully she will be a housewife, because daycare near military bases like to rape you in fees. Hopes this helps!
