Since your OTHER TOPIC was secured, I'll ask the same question here: what commissioning program did you earn your Ensign bars from?

Also, (if you are indeed commissioned) are you one of those resigning your commission to enlist in the Corps? You won't be the first.

HPSP. I have to speak with the Navy about that. I still have not finalized everything with them.

So have you been appointed an Ensign for this?

So if you want to go medical, why the interest in joining the Corps? The Marine Corps don't have a medical field.

Yes, yes I have. But this whole conversation is detracting from the purpose of this topic. I suppose people are looking at this topic to find info on OCS or other Officer options in the Marine Corps and this back and forth tit-for-tat about verifying my rank and motives is totally tangential to the topic at hand. I only wanted to get some info. If I was really a troll, wouldn't I say something controversial or bash some aspect of the Marine Corps? And if rank was so important to me that I was willing to falsify it, wouldn't I have alluded to it in some assinine/arrogant way?
Either way, I can't access my email, so I'll be booted out by tonight.
I appreciate the info I was given and I'll do the best I can with that.
Thank you for your service.

I totally agree. But if I went to a discussion forum for Naval Aviators and I took the screen name "TomcatRider" and they see my profile as a former 1stLt USMC, that would net the same results: detraction from the intended topic.

Good luck in your career be it Naval Professional Health or USMC officer.
