But he has a felony of Grand Larceny. I'm not sure if they would accept him, but he wants to try.

First of all, what is up with your profile? You speak of your fiance but apparently you are already married? Second, you are not a corporal with a Combat Infantry Badge, so remove it from your profile. Third, felons are not permitted to enlist in the Marine Corps.

More free advice for you: your fiance is a an ass clown and I would advise you to ditch him. Easier now than later.

Thank you for the advise.

I don't see how you can say he's an "*** clown", you don't know him.

But anyway.. I've found the answer I needed. Thank you.

Artillery brings dignity to what would otherwise be just a brawl.

Confused A wife wearing their husbands rank and a CIB? Hmmmmmm. Thats more common in officer country, but I guess it could happen. She got busted and now the profile is private.

I love officers' wives who think that they carry their husband's rank. I met alot of Army wives like that. One tried to cut in front of my mother (she was a Sergeant 1st Class at the time, and in uniform) in line at the commissary and said "my husband is a Colonel; you understand." Bogus.

There is a story that has gone around about that at Quantico. Back in the day before ATMs, you were able to cash a check at the Exchange. Well, there was a line and this woman would go up and ask what rank the woman's husband was who was in line. She would say, my husband is a Captain, so I can get in front of you. As she neared the head of the line, an older woman with gray hair was aked the same question. She replied, "My husband is a Maj Gen, you can go to the end of the line young lady." Classic line from a classic lady.

Wow. That is just straight up f'ed up.

Disclaimer: I know there are plenty of good officers and some of you are here

But this is EXACTLY the sort of crap that leads tons of enlisted men to think their officers REALLY think they're *BETTER* than their enlisted personel. My wife would without a doubt start a fight with any stupid cunt that tried to cut in front of her using that stupid excuse. Wow... just... wow.

More than that. i don't think I'd move out of line for someone of higher rank. That's personal servitude not a lawful order.

Is he a felon? He apparently has a lot of going for him. How old are you? Nineteen? Sounds like you're setting yourself up for success.

I have had the opportunity to work for some great officers over the years, and fortunately, that story is the exception, not the norm. Their wives have been just as humble and gracious.

By no means did I mean to espouse the an unfavorable view of officers or their wives. Sorry if anyone took it that way.

Hold on, I didnt imply that you did. We all have worked for great and not so great officers over our long or short careers in the Corps. Unfortunately, situations like that did and still do occur.

Good deal, just don't want to be caught generalizing.

Luckily, I have yet to experience working for a bad officer (in my lengthy two years of service). However, I have known a good amount of the type, to include one who is currently an E-0 in Leavenworth. Shenanigans will catch up with you, and rank won't safeguard you from the reprecussions of human-trafficking...
