If you've been there shouldn't you have an ideal of what level of physical fitness is needed?

Why do you have two posts out there with conflicting information? As far as your contract is concerned, you sign it twice... once with your recruiter, and then once at MEPS. You should have seen what your MOS was off the bat. If you didn't pay attention, that was your bust not your recruiters. If you were discharged as a "Failure to Adapt", I would assume you threw a fit and refused to train. In that case you're going to find it very difficult to get back into the Marine Corps. Becoming a Marine is a reward in itself, getting the sexy MOS should be second. Try the Army, physical fitness standards are much more relaxed. Lt B
