I am a mother of two married to a Marine and have been wanting to join the Marine Corps since I was 22 (currently 32). I have told my hubby and he supports me 100%, but I am worried about my kids. I have a great mom that would watch them no problem while I was in boot camp and my hubby worked, but I don't know what to do. Thirty three is around the corner and I wonder if I should let the dream go. Anything you all have to say would be greatly appreciated. I just need feedback i.e. you're too old, lol. Could any WM please give me some bootcamp information. Thank you all.
At 22 (single and childless) I went to the recruiter and she said I was over weight (5'4 196lbs). I walked out the door and began to diet and exercise. Then my ex boyfriend asked me to marry him and I said YES, lol. Six months after getting married I got knocked up. I worked for 5 years as a paramedic and then became a stay at home mom and got knocked up a second time. So I put my family before me and it's been ten years. Maybe, in my next life...
