I am interested in the PLC and I talked recently with my recruiter about it. She said that I have to go to Parris Island boot camp, and then apply for the PLC. Today, my father called me, after he talked to a friend of his who is a Marine COL, and he said that I do not need to go to recruit training. He said that I need to talk to an OSO about PLC and that I would go straight into the PLC. Any help please?

The Colonel is correct. You do not need to go enlisted to apply for PLC, & you will need to talk to the OSO about PLC.
