Is there anyone shipping to BootCamp on August 24, 2009. I can not believe that I joined this forum more than two years ago, and now I am nearly two months away from begining the rest of my life.
You need to drop the Marine from your name. Contact Gunny Irwin to do this....You have not earned the right to use the word Marine connected to you. There is only one way to do that....

You'll do well Son. Just don't forget to make life long memories now because not only will they help carry through your enlistment, you'll also have things to share with your children when they're your age now. They're infinitely more important than getting ready for the Corps and this is also something you'll completely agree with when that time comes.

Well rolltide12, what does you leaving for Boot Camp and being a Combat Eng have anything to do with this? What this is called is being a Buttinsky. In some groups in the Corps this is a No-No, pink belly time....
