Whenever you have to have your Physical Examination by whomever, what do thay check for? Is like a regular checkup. I'm just curious.

They pretty much check for everything...more than a regular checkup (ie flexibility checks, such as the "duck walk".)

Remember this, my recruiter told me this before I went to MEP's. The job of the MEP's staff is not to get you into the military, but to keep you out. Everything is normal like Mr. Jagges said. The only odd and weird part for me was the "turn your head and cough" and the bend over and spread your cheeks part. I hope you have two balls, we had a guy get DQ'ed for only having one. Don't ever say anything different then what you put on your paperwork and told the recruiter. You will stay in a hotel which is provided by the military. All your food is provided for free as well. Here is what my schedule was like.

5:30 A.M: Wake Up (Phone Call Will Be Made To Your Room)

6:00 A.M: Breakfast(All You Can Eat)

6:20 A.M: Bus's arrive to take all enlistees and shippers to the MEP's station.

6:45 A.M: Arrive at MEP's. You will stand outside and be given a 15-20 minute briefing. You then go through the metal detectors and such. Then you place all your personal belongings inside a secure and locked room.

7:05 A.M: You will go see your MEP's liason. You will get all paperwork squared away for the rest of the day.

7:30 A.M: You sit around and wait to begin your physical. Eventually you begin the physical testing process. This involves A LOT of waiting and sitting around. There are lots of other people joining and MEP's is understaffed. The physical lasts most of the day, depending on the MEP's staff and the number of enlistees.

1:00 P.M: Eat Lunch

1:30 P.M: Finish your physical and do the excercies.

4:20 P.M: Physcial is done as well as the excercies. You go to your liason and discuss shipout date ect. Also go through fingerprinting and background check.

4:50 P.M: You did it! You successfully completed and passed all the required tests to get into the military. Now it is time for the day to pay off, you take your oath of enlistment.

5:30 P.M: Shuttle arrive to take you back to your recruiter.

NOTE: This was approximately my schedule, it may vary depending on the station, staff, and enlistees. There is A LOT of waiting throughout the day. The most simple tasks take forever. I waited like an hour just to get my blood drawn. TONS and TONS of hurry up and wait.Good Luck!

Hope this helps.

Yeah, that does. And just a couple more things. What does DQ'ed mean? How did he only have one? And I had a concussion a little ways back, it do anything major whatsoever, but will that pose a threat on my chance of getting into the military?

DQ'ed means disqualified. He had a tumor and had it removed I heard. It wasnt the fact that he only had one. He lied about it on paper and when he was being "inspected", they found out. The concussion should be no biggie, but ask your recruiter on that one.
