Don't believe for a hot second there's anything heroic about being a Marine in combat or whatever job you do in the Corps. While you will indeed see some very heroic things happening around you, it's only because Marines are giving that something extra within themselves in simply doing their job.

Does a postal clerk, supply administrationman or vehicle mechanic rate any less respect because they're not killing or being killed? NO WAY! Because people's perceptions are wrong as they face danger in their own way whether they're riding convoy or working in their offices.

Either way, they're simply well trained hard working Marines doing their job as part of our overall Team and it take EVERYONE pulling together to make our Corps function.
