I'm NOT a MOD. This is NOT an official posting of the rules. Just my observations of recent posts by wannabe's and some general attitudes. It is also satire.

You have been one of the more civil wannabes to come in here. Yes, some of those questions are not off topic, but they have been discussed ad nauseum. Did you read the Safety Standdown thread?

And we do help. However, unlike you, a lot of wannabe's won't/can't accept the answers because it's not what they want to hear. You at least say thank you, and don't seem to keep harping on the same question.

You have a good attitude. And you're post above, wasn't rude or disrespectful.

There's been a rash of tantrums thrown lately by wannabe's. Its not personal.

No... I did not. I guess I have been raised to be decent and polite. I have seen some of the more rude threads. And I dont agree with the way they act. But also, I think sometimes you can make people afriad to ask questions, because they read threads like this one, saying that they are dumb. Im sorry if this is rude, but I guess i have always been told theres no such thing as a dumb question...

True...Sometimes we do get gruff. And I learn too, of changes in Marine Corps recruiting since my era, from some of the responses.

The search function is a great feature which should be utilized more. Reading the endless medical questions leads me to believe new members routinely skip over the rules section or disregard them all together.

Keep asking the questions you have, Courtney. Smile

Please, just call me Cyn~.

You've posted some very helpful threads here; I understand your frustration as it is a repetitive situation with new members on a regular basis.

If only more would learn how to use the "search" function at the top of the threads, they would be much less repeat questions being asked. Wink
