greetings yet again,

i have been out now for 9 years and in that time the utility uniform has changed. if i am able to re-enlist, i'll have to replace all my utility uniforms and covers.

how much does a set of cammies cost these days?

$35 for blouse, $37 for trousers, assuming you were to buy them new. Those are the prices from the online uniform store.

Who said you would have to pay for uniforms?...seems odd after a 9 yr Break in Service...if you are done with IRR time then you shouldn't have to buy them...if you were in the USMC IRR, then thats another story.

i EAS'd off active duty in '99 with woodland cammies. I still have a few sets.

i received my actual honorable discharge in 2002, so i had no existing relationship with the Marine Corps after that point.

now i'm trying to come back as a reservist.

are you saying it these should be issued to me?

if not, is there a possibility of exchanging them for the new patterns at a discount?

how did that work for all of you when they were introduced into service?

Thanks for the info.

I had held onto all my cammies for years for no apparent reason. all the Marines who were discharged around when I was were selling them at surplus stores.

maybe i was still keeping re-enlistment in the back of my mind.

now that the pattern has changed, i guess it doesn't matter anyway.

thanks again Mr HollywoodMarine.

Uh, it's plain old HW, Hollywood, or HollywoodMarine. Big Grin One of the Mods added the "Mr." under my user name from an incident that occured a few days ago with some Turd Wannabe.
