first off i relize half of what i type is going to be spelled wrong lol...ok...so i dep'd in a few weeks ago...a couple days ago i made proly the stupidest desicion iv ever made and i was in target and decided to pocket a $30 video game thing...i was busted at the door...im an effing dumbass i know..i made a mistake and it WONT happen again....but my question is what does that mean for me? my recruiter said that if they press charges and i go to court even if its dismissed and doesnt go on my record the FBI will still see it and it will limit what MOS's i can choose from...any advise besides dont ef up again?...and i was hoping to get into recon...not gonna happen now?.....and lastly is my profile set right? i think i put inactive reserves..i went in reserves....thnx

Yeah, the FBI will still see it. And it looks like your MOS choices will be limited.

yes i know...i just cant wait for the pool function tonight and the physical training.....my recruiter wanted to be a Drill Instructor so he takes great enjoyment in making all the poolee's do large amounts vigorius excersises....he is gonna run me until i cant run anymore at which point he will rotate to other forms of punishment

yea...all i can really do now is not mess up again and try to make it up to the people i have wronged in any way possible

I have to agree with Sgt. Take it from a former Police Officer...everyone I ever arrested for theft says this. "I made a mistake". 8 year olds taking a candy bar when Mom's not looking...makes a "mistake". Anyone older than that is committng theft, a felony in the State of Indiana. The best you can hope for is finding another career where this theft won't be called into question.
