Some of you have some really colorful names while others are just plain arrogant. Notice how the Marines around here pretty much stay away from that? Where confidence is a good character trait, arrogance is a weakness generally used to hide insecurity or foolish pride. Some of you may want to follow Marine lead and tone it down some.

Example: Deanosaur is short for the 1960's Flinstones' Dino the Dinosaur cartoon character. It was my Corps nickname.

Example: Brothers who did Iraq tours like Trigger, Trig, NBK (Natural Born Killer) etc.

Notice how no one is using badass, kill'em all, etc. and even how Natural Born Killer is NBK.

You're writing and reading from people who have been there done that which is why everyone stays away from arrogant names because theres nothing to proove. So slow down and pick a name which speaks of your attitude, character or something about yourself. There will be time enough to hurt people and you won't want to remember the tale. No one ever does.
