I was wondering if it was possible to find out my dads IST and ASVAB scores from his initial enlistment in the Corps before he went to the AF.

Go to the website of National Personel Records Center
Read the directions.
Print out the SF 180 form
Fill it out
Send it to NPRC

In the remarks section, write "Request Copy of ALL records on file". If not, you will only receive a copy of the DD-214 and other basic info.
