I cant stress enough how much this board has helped me find a MOS I think that will suit me. To all the Marines on this message board I just want to say thanks for the help.

I leave to take the ASVAB test on Monday and get my physical Tuesday and take the oath. I cant wait.

When you go back for the actual swearing-in ceremony, take your parents/family/friends with you. Let them take pictures. This is a very big step for you. Document it.

P.S. - Do NOT wear a "Marines" t-shirt when you ship out. You'll get quarter-decked right off the buss.

Whatever... they'll like your motivation. An EGA tattoo will put you in much better standing amongst the DIs as well.

I just enlisted today! I took the oath which felt so good. Been waiting for this day since the 7th grade. Now all I can do is wait for my ship date which is 20090615
