You should get a form letter with his address. Just copy it as it is written in that letter and you should be good to go!

awwww I remember when my son first went. I felt so lost. Now he is in Iraq and hes only been gone from Benning since March 6th. A piece of advice, write lots of letters, silly cards. every thing you can think of, but don't call and dont send confetti, and ummm think of things to help him get through cause they feel cut off from civilization there. That is what my son told me after he got to Ft. Hood. Try to keep his spirits up go every chance you can to see him. Let him know that no matter what your there just a letter, or a phone call away.
I will pray for him.

My son has been at Ft. Benning since January and graduates from OSUT on May 8. It was tough to think of things to write sometimes so I started sending him reports on his favorite sports teams that I printed from the internet. He loved it. He followed the NCAA basketball tournament that way and now we're following the NHL playoffs.
In regards to his mailing address, we didn't know his unit and address until he wrote to us. We got the form letter from his Company Commader in week 7 (just before family weekend). It had a lot of good information but sure would have been nice to have earlier.
I know internet addresses aren't allowed here, but if you Google '192nd Infantry Brigade' (my son's training brigade) you can get to the 192nd home page. On the right navigation column there is a link to 'mailing procedures'...very useful. In fact the entire website is very useful. The 198th has an excellent, informative site as well.
Best of luck to you and your family.
