I haven't seen this one before, but my son is doing his MOS training and hasn't gotten his mail in almost a month! They keep getting excuses: "Oh, well the truck broke down and has to get fixed." Oh, well, check back tomorrow." Oh, well, the guy is supposed to come around and deliver it." Yadda yadda yadda. I sent him his financial aid info that he has to act on because EdFund wants to start repayment, he asked for some computer stuff for his laptop; other parents sent credit cards, money, other items. What's the deal over there?

Did they just class up within the last month? Sometimes it takes several weeks for things to get going with a new class, old one leaving and things being forwarded, etc.

Yeah, come to think of it. He graduated from combat training on Oct. 13, then was sent to Ft. Leonard Wood. He got settled in with his roommates and has been sitting in an empty class or joining work parties ever since because they have a backlog on training over there. He joined up with his platoon yesterday and actually started his MOS. But he said that the word around the base is "never send mail to Ft. Leonard Wood....you'll never get it," which is bothersome.

My son is at Ft Leonard Wood now he did bootcamp there and is in AIT now. We haven't had any problems with getting him his mail. He said they usually get there mail once a week. But we haven't had any problems. I even shipped him his laptop because he's allowed to have it now.
