Fedex cannot deliver packages, it all has to go through USPS. The Priority flat rate packages are a set price for up to 70 lbs in them, so it will only cost that amount.

you will need to get an address from an organization like America Supports You

I have about 50 full stockings to send to my sons company in Iraq. What would be the best way to ship them? They will not fit very well in the flat rate boxes or it will take more than 12 boxes to ship them.

Would you ship a playstation? My son has asked for me to send his and I am a little leary on sending it over.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

You should look at sending the box priority because right now I believe Parcel post will not make it in time. Find out the rates for doing it in 1 box compared to 10. If it is cheaper then send it that way. Just remember the priority flat rate boxes have a very high weight limit and there is 3 different sizes to choose from.

Yes you can send a playstation if you do then make sure you insure the box you send it in. This way if anything happens to it you can claim it.

RE: ARMYMOM88 I sent my hubby a brand new XBOX 360 plus games and an extra controller. Like Navywife said make sure you accurately detail on the customs box and put plenty of insurance and it should be fine. I opened everything up before sending it and made sure to write down all the ID and registration numbers including the manufacture date. Good luck!

You can also try this. My son ordered a stereo system and they would not ship to an APO. We got in touch with his Recruiter and a Military Plane took the packages at Christmas to the Soldiers. What you are sending has to be in the original packaging.

That is done if it goes Exchange to Exchange and it can take several months before it actually arrives. Depending on the location it might not always be possible to do that. There is a company that does things like this in which you then pay for shipping. All other mail still has to go through FPO APO to get where it is going, sometimes it will go through commercial airlines and sometimes it will be military.
