My son has recently graduated from Parris Island and is now in NC for RCT trainning. From there he is to head to FT Sill for MOS training. Does anyone know how long Artilary school is? How long should he be at FT Sill? Is he permitted off base? Does he have days off? At Thanksgiving and Christmas does he get extra days? (Or should he be gone by then?) My son has a daughter and I am unsure if I should be trying to figure out a way to get her to see him and when. Thanks for any help someone might be able to supply me.
Depends on yer son's arrival at Ft Sill, the scheduled training & it's course length.Your Marine will be well taken care of. http://sill-www.army.mil/usmc/S3/Courses.htm#masoc this may help ya out only to get an idea on how it works, as far as the opportunity of being released from training to travel home during the holidays, he should be given that info to during his training.
