My son is currently w/Guard and will be graduating as Combat Engineer in August at Ft. Leonard Wood, then will be returning to Florida to complete 2 more years of college education and contract w/SMP Program w/ROTC. Has anyone attended the graduation at Ft Leonardwood? Can you tell me the format and what happens typically after the ceremony? Should I book a return flight that evening? If so, how much time can I allow to spend with him before heading back?
