My son was at Ft Benning last summer for BCT. It seemed to take forever to get the letter they said would be coming, but it did come. As soon as I knew which unit he was in, I was able to go the the Benning website and find the dates and got general grad info. Below is the Ft Benning Site. Takes time to get around it, but was interesting. I spent many hours looking at it because "I felt it made me closer to my son, like I was there".

Fort Benning has a website and sometimes they update it with graduation dates, etc. You can look there, or just wait for the letter or phone call.

I just got my first phone call. It was the best phone call of my life

My son is currently at Fort Benning. He left the reception battalion on June 5 and it appears his graduation date is Aug. 6. He has called twice -- last Monday and again today. We have received two letters from him, but no official letter from the army. I'm wondering if anyone else has received anything yet or not. Thanks!

We got the letter from the commander today! Finally!

Hi I'm a newbie. My son RJ was in Iraq 2008 and in Dec. 2009 will go to Afganistan. Very nervous this time around. I thought 2nd time would be easier!

Hi- we're from Wisconsin, too! Our son is in the Army stationed at Fort Riley right now.

my youngest son Aaron Lee Voris went to Fort Benning last year. Should have been out around last christmas..haven't heard from him since .. tomarrow he will be 21..any idea how to find him email address..jlv2540@cox.com
