Thanks, and there is GFT(Ground Fighting Training). There are two drills that they do get punched. One is where they DS or whoever is the instructor does punch them in the face, but they are wearing big glove like things and they have to get past the gloves in their face and take them down. That might be what he is referring to. GFT and combatives is fun though.
