Hello every1, my son is expected to graduate from Fort Benning on Sept. 26'th. My husband and I are wondering what documentation we'll need to get on base for the activities: Family Day and Graduation? Also, I saw they have rooms available to family to rent on base. Do we need credentials for that?

Hi Mom I just got back from Fort Benning for the 36 hr pass and to answer your question to get on the base you need a drivers license or Govt or State issued ID that applies to evryone going on the base. They also will not let you on the property w/out proof of car insurance registration and hotel info you are staying at can be requested. I am not sure about rooms on the base if you could can you please tell me where you found that info. My son is also graduating on Sept 26th so we will go back for that as well

* Soldiers traveling on official orders (PCS/TDY) have priority and may make reservations in advance. Travelers who are not on official orders may make reservations 30 days in advance on a space available basis.

* Room rates range from $36 to $75 per night and may accommodate single and double guest rooms. Check-in times are 2 - 6 p.m. unless reservation is guaranteed with a credit card for late arrival. After 6 p.m. vacant rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Check-out time is 11 a.m. Continental breakfast provided.
