I haven't seen anyone on here, who had a son graduating at that time. I am getting excited, two more weeks and I can see my son.

Hi! This is my first post. I had to reply since my son is graduating from Basic 11-20 also! We are so excited. We leave for Columbus this Thursday and will pick up our son 11-21 for a 72 hour family leave pass. Does anyone know if there are any events planned for the day your child completes basic? He begins AIT 11-24.

Hi Proudmother65 Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. Thank you for your post. How was your trip to see your son? Wonderful I am sure. I hope your long car trip went well. Our son is in the infantry. On November 21st he was granted a 3 day pass with his family prior to starting AIT 11-24. It was so wonderful to see him! Seeing him in his dress uniform brought tears of joy and pride to my eyes. He will complete his training 12-18 and graduate that day and then leave for home! His home coming is all the Christmas present I need I hope you get a pass with your son and are able to spend the holiday together during Christmas exodus. When will your son complete his training?
