Oh that's awful - I'm so sorry.

I'm really new to all of this so I hope others will be along to help.

I think you have to contact your local Red Cross to initiate a welfare check. Please keep us posted.

I am so sorry to hear about this! You may contact your local Red Cross office and ask them to do a "Welfare Check" on your son. They will need to know his SSN, command his is with and so forth to process this quickly.

I don't get this...I spent 6 yrs in the Coast Guard and 17 yrs with US Customs on patrol boats. I have had a lot of training with the use of force reference 3 cell flashlights and ASPs. We were always taught that they are a non-lethal tool in the Use of Force Paramid.

We were taught to strike the legs and arms, maybe the back but NEVER the head as that would be considered Lethal Force.

I simply wonder if your son's actions required lethal force to compel compliance? I wasn't there and hate to second guess the MP's.

I don't get this either. It is my belief that the taser has replaced the night stick for most MP's. And going for the face or head is what they would do only if they were trying to defend themselves.

Hopefully you will hear from your son soon!
