HI IM WONDERING IF ANYONE'S SOLDIER IS AT FORT SAM. MY SON GRADUATED 11/13 AND IS ON HIS WAY TO FORT SAM. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ANY INFO HE'S GOING FOR MEDIC TRAINING. AND INFO WOULD BE GREAT.

My son is also at Ft Sam. He checked in about 3pm yesterday and was in reception until almost 9 pm. He knew they would have formation at 5:30 this morning. He heard a rumor he would get his cell phone at 6 tonight but really didn't know anything for sure. I was at graduation last week too. Wasn't it GREAT to see your son?! I am so thankful we were able to go! I thought the ceremony was nice...once it started! Haha.

My son is at Ft. Sam for medic training. He arrived on the 7th and has been in reception until yesterday. Today, he'll start class. He's in C-232.

He doesn't have a cell phone yet, so he borrowed someone else's in order to call me last week. So, they are allowed to use cells while in reception, as well as in their down time during AIT.
