Is anyone's loved one a hospital admin officer? My DH is applying to get in for this job. He has been enlisted 14 years and recently completed his masters and now they are wanting him to apply for direct commission to o-2e. I am just not sure about the job, what it's like, deployability, etc. Any insight would be great.

We have universities, where men go to become great thinkers. They have no more brains than you have. But they have one thing you haven't got: a diploma.

If you would like to learn more about what your husabd will be doing, I'd ask in the apprpriate service's forums. Even if there are no Hospital Admin Officers there (as those types can be rare), those who actually work in the hospitals will at least be able to help.

Kudos to your hubby for completing his Masters BTW!
