Has anyone gone to the ceremonies there? I'm trying to decide if it'll be worth the trip - we have 3 kids but I would not be bringing them as he'll be heading to AIT immediately - I don't want them to think he's coming right home at that point. I don't think they get an overnight pass, but I think it would be really important to him if he had someone there, even though he might not say it. What are the grad ceremonies like? I've only been to the AF boot grad when my brother went thru 7 years ago.

Thanks..

I have a security clearance so high I'd have to kill myself if I remember I have it.

I'm a meanie now!

My hubby's was at white sands. So I don't know about Still. But I think it was worth it. they had a very nice graduation for them. Matt didn't get and Over night pass every night but he did most of the nights I was there. Every day he had a fair amount of time during the day to spend with me. I did take the kiddo but she's a little older and understood more what was going on. But its not something I'd bring little kids to.

I'll find myself today

My DH graduated at Ft Sill also, it was a nice ceremony and although he didn't get overnight pass he was allowed to leave the base but had to be back at 8:45 each night. We have 3 kids also and I did bring them, they were 7,12 and 15. His AIT was also at Ft. Sill so he had a little more time than others that had to fly out somewhere else for their AIT. For me it was worth the trip.

Hope this helps.
