My bf just joined the army. I have his first letter he sent me last week but there was no return address on it because he was in reception. He said he would send the address in his second letter to me. It hasnt come yet, but wrote letters for him already once I get his letter I will send him all my letters at once. I know he will like that. How long does it take for him to send a letter with his address. He's in basic training right now. I guess it must take some time for him to send a letter since he's in training.

Letters from Basic/Boot are written on Sundays, mailed out Mondays and so can appear anywhere between Tuesday and Thursday usually. If he actually started Basic then he probably hasn't had a chance to write you yet. You might get information but no guarantees, as hard as it is be patient and it will come.

thanks for the information, im being patient waiting for the next letter and im just writing about my day each day to send him when i do get his address.

i haven't received a second letter from my bf. It's been 2 and a half weeks. Im still being patient. I can't send him any letters till I get his address. Hopefully I will get it soon he's in basic and they are working him so being patient.
